Setting up a STS Centre

  • Approaching the Village Panchayat, apprise them of the project and obtain their permission.
  • Identify the space for running the centre, which could be a rented accommodation, local temple or local government building.
  • Identify the best educated person from the village and appoint him/her as the Acharya (Teacher) imparting regular periodical training.
  • Motivate the Acharya (Teacher) to meet the parents, convince them and enrol the children (from I Std to VI Std) not less than 30 in numbers.
  • Supply the necessary study & sports materials, and, First Aid Kits & basic medicines.

Supervising

  • Form a Sanch (Division) comprising 20 to 30 village centers.
  • Appoint a Field Supervisor for each Sanch and impart required training
  • Ensure Field Supervisor makes periodical visits to STS centres and reports through Mobile APP.
  • Appoint Supervising Officers, who will be based at office headquarters and travel to villages monitoring the activities of field supervisors and ensuring the timely and proper supply of study, sports and medical materials.

Marketing

Corporates and ensures their contribution through CSR initiatives.

Apart from marketing, the Project Coordinator also coordinates the training sessions for Acharyas (Teachers) and Field Supervisors and ensures the overall implementation of the STS Project.
