To improve the educational wealth of villages by providing value based education to school going children, for education is the greatest wealth of humanity and educational wealth of a society leads to nation’s progress.
Seventy years after attaining independence, India’s literacy rate stands at 74% with 26% still deprived of education. While Urban India stands at 85%, Rural India trails behind at 69% literacy rate, for education remains inaccessible for children from remote areas due to social and economic reasons apart from infrastructural limitations.
Tamil Nadu has fared slightly better than the national average with 80% overall, 87% in urban areas and 74% in rural areas. However, having our base in Tamil Nadu, we focus on improving the literacy rate in rural Tamil Nadu on par with the urban areas.
