Students are taught discipline by making them understand how to conduct themselves inside the classroom. Basic qualities such as punctuality, Prayer in the beginning, undertaking Pledge, maintaining silence throughout, answering only when asked, etc., are taught.
Students are involved in sports activities on Saturdays and elementary yoga also is taught to them, thereby ensuring their physical fitness.
The centres are equipped with a small library comprising books on moral science, etc., which are being circulated among the students. Reading sessions are also conducted. This helps them to learn more and gain knowledge on various subjects which are not part of their academics.
Children shift from a working environment to a studying environment, and over a period of time, they develop a close companionship with each other, sinking their differences, leading to eradication of social discrimination.
Acharyas (Teachers) gain a lot through their training programs. A single teacher is able to attend to students from KG level to High School level (up to 8th std).
Acharyas grow in self-confidence and their social status improves. They are respected by the village community.
Villagers realise the significance of education, and their responsibility of providing a supportive environment for their children to get educated.
Villagers are benefitted by regular medical camps and health awareness programs. They are made to realise the importance of cleanliness and hygiene.
On the whole the entire village gets a huge facelift.
