PATH FOR PROGRESS

The 26% rural populace of Tamil Nadu, which has no basic education, belong to the ‘Below Poverty Line’ comprising of almost 5 Lakh families. Children of those families from Coastal hamlets, Tribal areas and remote villages of plains grow up without even the basics of primary education, despite the presence of government schools at Panchayat levels. These Panchayat schools lack in required infrastructures leading to inadequate learning by children.

In this kind of a scenario, it becomes imperative for us to reach those children and impart value based primary education to them. This can be done only by approaching the elders of the village and the parents of the children. We have to approach them by projecting a picture of progress benefiting the village as well as the children.
