At STS, I could practically see the benefits of their project reaching poor children in the villages of Tamil Nadu which improved their learning skills and social outlook.
Performance of STS was so great that we increased our contributions with full conviction that we are supporting the right project.

STS, with its pioneer concept, “If children cannot go to school, the school must go to the children” is covering more and more villages in Tamil Nadu and it is a commendable achievement.
Swami Vivekananda Rural Development Society has also undertaken efforts in providing toilet cum bathrooms to the villagers of Tamil Nadu and Desilting of Water Bodies.
During the COVID pandemic, Teachers of STS have created a lot of awareness and extended relief work.

We, at Rotary Club of Madras East deeply appreciate the great work done by Single Teacher Schools in promoting the education and values of children in remote villages of Tamil Nadu. We are very happy to collaborate with their effort by providing school desks and solar lamps to 70 village schools in Sriperumbudur district for a value of Rs. 9.56 Lakhs. We wish them the very best in this noble endeavour.
Our association with STS began in 2017. Inspired by the organizations Vision & Mission, we partnered with STS to work with 600+ students in 20 villages around Sriperumbudur. Over these years, we have associated with STS on a few additional initiatives like health awareness, sports activities, and Teacher Training.
STS takes extra effort in teaching the Children Discipline and Values for their life.
